Florian Hack
Student Research Assistant
Florian Hack studied Philosophy & Economics in Bayreuth and Paris and currently pursues a Master in Economics at Humboldt University Berlin.
Before joining the Global Solutions Initiative, he worked as Strategy Consulting Working Student of the German Administration’s Inhouse Consultancy. Florian was an intern with the Economic Delegate of the Federal Republic of Germany to the OECD in Paris and wrote a commissioned Bachelor thesis for the Strategic Planning Unit of the Siemens AG’s Digital Factory Division.
His research interests include welfare, labor and environmental economics as well as the application of statistical network analysis to applied economic research.
As Research Assistant to the President at the Global Solutions Initiative, he mainly works on the Recoupling Dashboard that measures the wellbeing of societies beyond GDP and illustrates the correlation of economic prosperity, social prosperity and environmental sustainability.
