Madat Community

Madat Community is a female- and indigenous-led collective addressing climate resilience and social equity in Pakistan’s marginalized communities. Born from the 2022 megafloods, it delivers localized solutions through mutual aid, accessible healthcare, climate-adapted housing, and education. Madat has supported 31,000+ people, built 350+ zero-carbon homes, and empowered youth with tech and climate knowledge, fostering resilience and independence from foreign aid.
