Rôbalôtô is a pioneering initiative with the mission to transform plastic waste management in Africa through innovative digital and educational solutions. The project began in response to the widespread issue of poor plastic waste management. Rôbalôtô empowers schools and communities by providing smart waste bins equipped with sensors and an application to optimize plastic waste collection and recycling. Beyond efficient waste management, Rôbalôtô takes sustainability further by transforming collected plastic waste into solar-powered bags. The initiative also offers an educational platform that connects plastic waste producers with recycling businesses.
