Run For It
Australia | Run For It is a movement of young people working to rebuild their democracy and create a better kind of politics for future generations. They do this by resourcing, training and inspiring young people to become more involved in democracy as voters, volunteers and candidates. Many of the urgent issues facing society disproportionately impact younger generations, but young people remain underserved and continuously blocked from participating in democratic processes. Run For It is not party-affiliated – they simply support young people who align and can commit to their shared values of social justice, climate action and economic equity. Beginning with their founder mobilizing his friends to letterbox in support of a young local candidate, Run For It has grown into a national organization.
