SafeSip

SafeSip provides affordable and portable water-filters to combat waterborne diseases and improve access to safe drinking water in rural Tanzania. Each straw features a three-stage filter that removes 99.99% of pathogens, improving health and reducing single-use plastics. Each SafeSip Straw filters up to 4,000 liters of water, reducing healthcare costs linked to waterborne diseases by up to 70%, and lowering the burden on families, who spend around 15% of household income on healthcare and water.
