The theme of the Global Solutions Summit 2022 was “Listen to the World: Promoting Social Well-being Within Planetary Boundaries.” It covered the priorities of the G20 and G7 and aimed to be a stepping stone to the G/T20 and G/T7 Summits – a place where T20 and Think7 Task Forces discuss their work with regard to their policy briefs and where multistakeholder decision-makers discuss collective approaches to G20 and G7 problems.

The Global Solutions Initiative and the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) co-chaired the T7 under the German presidency of the G7. GSS was an official associated event of T7 Germany. GSS was an official associated event of T20 Indonesia.
