Carolina Claus holds a Bachelor's degree in German Studies & Geography and a Master's degree in German Studies. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Science at the European University of Flensburg and is working on the topic of educational equity from an international comparative perspective. She has been active in youth organizations and political youth work for almost ten years, primarily in the Sports Youth, the Regional Youth Council of Schleswig-Holstein, and the German National Committee of International Youth Work in the area of international youth work. She is particularly active in the areas of education and gender equality, mental health, strengthening democracy, and education for sustainable development. She is the Co-Chair of the Y7 Summit 2022.
