I’m Abakar Mahamat, the founder and CEO of Telemedan. I’m driven by a passion to use technology to make a difference in my community by making healthcare accessible to everyone, especially in remote and underserved communities. With Telemedan, we’ve developed solar-powered telemedicine kiosks that provide affordable healthcare services in areas where access is limited. I’ve been fortunate to be recognized for my work, including being named one of Forbes Afrique’s 30 Under 30 in 2022, awarded the best technology in Africa by the BJKD Foundation, recognized also as a global innovator by The Expo City.
