Akhona Mtogana

Akhona Mtongana, South Africa, founded 3D-Vision, a social enterprise providing affordable prescription eyewear using recycled materials. With a Bachelor’s in Public Management and Governance and completing her Honours in BCom Information Management at the University of Johannesburg, Akhona’s work focuses on sustainable development. She’s a Mercedes-Benz Fellow and made it as a top 3 finalist in the Nedbank YouthX Award for her impactful project on social equity and climate action, empowering underserved communities through accessible and sustainable solutions.
