Ally Zlatar

Zlatar is a dynamic artist and activist, best known as the founder of The Starving Artist. This innovative initiative harnesses creative voices to drive advocacy and systemic reform, extending its reach to address critical social issues. Zlatar also established The Starving Artist Scholarship Fund, providing vital access to inpatient treatment for eating disorders. Her impactful “This Body of Mine” campaign further exemplifies her commitment, exploring migrant experiences through creative expression and supporting individuals and artists from refugee-seeking backgrounds worldwide. Zlatar’s profound humanitarian work has garnered significant international recognition, including the highest accolade a young person can achieve: the Princess Diana Legacy Award (2021), the King Hamad Award for Youth Empowerment (2022), and special recognition from The British Citizen Award (2022). She was also a Y20 Award Finalist for Diversity and Inclusion (Youth 20 by G20 Summit).
