Andrea Giuliani

Young Global Changer 2020/2021

Italy | Andrea Giuliani is currently completing his Master of Public Policy at the Hertie School, where his interests lie in the functioning of the welfare state, the digitalization of the public sector, quantitative methods, and R coding.

Prior to his graduate studies, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Jacobs University, including a semester abroad at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. Complementing his academic experience, Andrea completed two internships at the Diplomatic Mission of San Marino to the United Nations Office in Geneva.

His professional experience includes working as a research assistant for Prof. Dr. Hanna Schwander, where he examined the evolution of EU electorate behavior between 2002 and 2016. Andrea also worked as a graduate student at Syspons Consulting and is currently at Capgemini, focusing on projects involving the digitalization of the German public sector. During his time at the Hertie School, he was selected to participate in the Global Public Policy Network Conference in Singapore in March 2019.
