Annetta BV Mahoney​

Annetta BV Mahoney is the Programs Manager of Gambia Participates, a civil society organization that aims to promote good governance, transparency, and accountability in The Gambia. She is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in politics, philosophy, economics, and project management.​ Annetta has dedicated over five years of her career to actively contributing to the civic space, focusing on fostering democracy, human rights, and good governance. She has managed various projects and activities for Gambia Participates, such as conducting civic education and voter awareness campaigns, advocating for the adoption and implementation of the Anti-Corruption Commission Bill, organizing public dialogues and forums on various national issues, and monitoring and holding the government accountable.
