Anurag Gupta

Anurag Gupta, has over 10 years of experience in e-waste dismantling and is the 3rd generation in his family involved in this work in India. Coming from the background of e-waste’s informal dismantlers, he understands the problems and challenges faced by e-waste dismantlers in their daily life while trying to continue their work. His project E[co]work is empowering these dismantlers with access to a safe and efficient co-working space to continue their work with pride, without harming the environment. The project not only helps reduce adverse impacts of emissions to air, water and soil, but also facilitates a circular economy by better integration of material into the product value chain.
