Astrid Coraima Torres Bermùdez

Ecuador | Astrid Coraima Torres Bermúdez is a Social Communication graduate, filmmaker, and social activist. She is a co-founder of the Ibero-American Youth Network and served as a spokeswoman for the delivery of the Youth Pact at the XXV Ibero-American Summit. She also represented Ecuador at the Nairobi Summit about ICPD25.

Astrid coordinates the journalistic project Efecto Latam and is the author of cinematic works with social discourses. Her research explores informational capitalism, memory, visuals on climate change, and symbolic violence.
