Bilal Malaeb

LSE – Malaeb is an economist at the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice and a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics (LSE). He previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the LSE, University of Oxford, and University or Southampton. His expertise are in development economics, and his research interests are in migration, poverty, and labour market issues. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Manchester. Bilal has also consulted with the ILO, the IFAD, IGC LSE-Oxford Commission on State Fragility, among others.
