Carla Ruiz Philipps

Carla Ruiz Philipps, co-founder of Wayru Perú, a company that develops innovations for the efficient water management in households and underserved communities. She volunteered at the Peruvian Environment Ministry, where she discovered her passion for innovation and positive impact on society and the environment. ​She holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and environment from PUCP University. She was a fellow and winner of the Young Water Fellowship, the IDB e-Hackathon, Lima Women for Climate-C40 Cities, the ASME iSHOW and exhibited at the Water Conference 2023 at UN Headquarters.
