Christian Heller

Christian Heller is a globally recognized leader in the impact movement, bridging sustainability in business and sustainable finance within the financial market. He is Vice President at BASF and currently serves as CEO of the Value Balancing Alliance. Christian also co-chaired the Sustainable Finance Committee to the German Federal Government and actively engages with business initiatives, standard setters, policymakers, academia, and civil society on international sustainability efforts. Prior to this, he led BASF’s Value-to-Society program and held various roles in communications, sustainability, and human resources. Christian holds a master’s degree in philosophy and studied philosophy, macroeconomics, psychology, and politics in Munich.
