University of Milan – Blasi is Professor of Respiratory Medicine in the Department of Pathophysiology and Transplantation at the University of Milan. He serves as Head of the Internal Medicine Department and the Respiratory and Lung Transplantation Unit, at Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan, and Director for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at the Lombardia Regional Referral Center, and as a member of the Board of Directors at the University of Milan. He is Founder and Member of the Executive Committee of the European Registry of Bronchiectasis, the Italian Bronchiectasis Registry, and the Italian NTM Registry, and a Member of Istituto Lombardo Accademia di Scienze e Lettere. He is author of 457 peer-reviewed papers, published in international journals.
