João Felipe Tavares​

João Tavares is a social entrepreneur and civic education activist with a background in Law, Public Policy, and International Relations. He previously contributed to political renewal initiatives, working at RenovaBR—which prepares ordinary citizens for Congress—and serving as Executive Director of Escola Comum, a political training school for youth in Brazil’s outskirts. Currently, João is the co-founder and Executive Director of the National Civic Education Network. This organization is dedicated to strengthening Brazilian democracy by connecting and promoting the nation’s civic education ecosystem.
