Joshua Ichor, a 22-year-old geologist from Nigeria, is driven by a profound personal mission. Growing up in a village plagued by water scarcity and surviving a life-threatening illness due to it, he vowed to dedicate his life to geology and developing innovative water solutions. He’s currently creating Geotek Monitor, a smart, IoT-enabled system designed to monitor water wells, report downtime for rapid repairs, and assess water quality. Joshua is passionate about leveraging innovation to foster water sustainability and democratize access to clean water for all.
