Kavindya Thennakoon

Kavindya is a young educator who leverages design, anthropology, and film to reimagine the future of education. She currently works as a Civic Researcher at the MIT Media Lab (in Cambridge, USA) and works as a heads the projects department at the organization “Without Borders”. She also runs her own education-based social enterprise, which is a hackathon style leadership accelerator focused on equipping young people in Sri Lanka (aged 14-19) with creative skills in leadership, design thinking and advocacy to become socially conscious young changemakers.
