Lamea Tanjin Tanha

Lamea Tanjin Tanha is a 23-year-old social entrepreneur and activist from Bangladesh. Voluntarily working in the development sector for almost half a decade, her works are mostly focused on the social and economic rights of the marginalized SOGIESC community and sustainable fashion in Bangladesh. With the aim to intertwine these two, she has founded TransEnd Crafts in 2018. For her active contribution to human rights activism, she has received several national and international awards and recognitions like the Bangladesh Sustainability Excellence Award (2023), Impact Award (2023), Diana Award (2021), Joy Bangla Youth Award (2021), National champion at EO GSEA (2022), WIL Inspiring Women’s award (2020), etc.
