Lara Tavoschi

Department of Translational Research on New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery, University of Pisa – Tavoschi is senior researcher in Public Health at the University of Pisa. She worked for the Italian National Institute of Health and the European Centre for Disease prevention and Control on translational research and evidence-based public health, being based in South Africa for more than 5 years. Her areas of research are prevention and control of communicable diseases, including viral hepatitis and STIs with a focus on people in prison and other socially-deprived groups.
