Lisa Gerlach

Germany | Lisa Gerlach is an electrical engineer with a social science background, driven by a passion for contributing to the energy transition. She focuses on developing solutions that are not only technical but also address social complexities and challenges.

Currently, Lisa is a PhD candidate in energy storage systems at the Technical University of Dresden and a fellow of the German Federal Environmental Foundation. Her research specifically explores the distributed control of energy storage in distribution grids with high shares of renewable energy. Prior to her PhD, she worked at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, where she developed control software for wind turbines.
