Lucía De Mateo

Lucía De Mateo is a dedicated feminist activist and a passionate advocate for Comprehensive Sexuality Education. Her journey in activism began in secondary school, where she actively participated in the Student Council’s presidency and played a pivotal role in co-founding the Students Union of Lanús. Lucía further extended her leadership by co-founding the youth activist collective, ESIxEllas. Over three years, this collective successfully implemented innovative projects and communication campaigns focused on Comprehensive Sexuality Education. After initially joining the EsConESI training courses as a fellow youth activist, Lucía advanced to Project Leader in 2022 and was promoted to EsConESI Coordinator this year. She is currently studying Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires.
