María Alejandra Rodríguez

María Alejandra Rodríguez is the mobilization manager at El Avispero, from where she seeks citizen advocacy on various issues, including environment, youth, gender, peace and reconciliation. She is a political scientist with a minor in journalism and a specialization in care policy analysis. With the help of technology and building a network with grassroots movements, she aims for political advocacy on various issues that respond to the challenges that the country faces. In this path, she promotes pedagogy around causes with the help of experts. After traveling part of the Colombian territory, she is convinced that the future of the world lies in the local communities and activists, but this will not be possible without the collective work to achieve long-term changes.
