Marian Margraf
Professor of Information Security, Freie Universität Berlin
Marian Margraf is Professor of Information Security at the Free University of Berlin and Head of Department at the Fraunhofer Institute AISEC. His research group focusses on usable privacy and security, cryptography, especially post-quantum cryptography and electronic identities. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of information security. Initially from 2003 to 2008 as a cryptologist at the Federal Office for Information Security, where he developed the cryptographic protocols for electronic passports and identity cards. In 2008, he moved to the Federal Ministry of the Interior, where he developed strategies for information security.
