Mark Joseph Laceste

Founder of Lalakbayin Ecoventures, Mark is committed to revolutionizing the blue economy through marine conservation and biodiversity investment. Holding a business degree, a Cornell course in Sustainable Tourism, and an ongoing master’s in marine ecosystems, he bridges the gap between business and science. As President of Sustainable Ocean Alliance-Palawan and Ambassador for the Coral Triangle Initiative, Mark collaborates with coastal communities to shape policies for sustainable fishery management. He is also a YSEALI Academic Fellow and recognized by Blue Water Heroes and Tatler Gen T.
