Maryam Jamali

Maryam Jamali, Pakistan, is the founder of Madat Balochistan, a registered grassroots collective that has supported 31,000+ people in frontline communities with flood relief, medical support, adapted housing, and education. She’s recognized nationally as the youngest development leader by the Government of Pakistan and internationally by Global Center for Adaptation for building climate-change resilience through localized adaptation in frontline communities. She is currently working on building climate resilient livelihoods for indigenous communities as a Youth Climate Justice Fund awardee.
