Founder & Project Lead, CAIN Educational Resource Center

May Asagba is a social impact leader with over nine years of experience securing global partnerships, developing transformative programs, and leading young change-makers in powering solutions to drive development in underserved African communities. Through her international professional experiences, she has spearheaded the design and delivery of 10 transformative programs, impacting over 100,000 people across 10 African communities. At age 21, she founded a nonprofit organization, Catering to Africans In Need (CAIN). As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CAIN, May is focused on empowering disadvantaged children and marginalized youth with quality education and skills to break from poverty and become globally competitive. One of the highlights of her work at CAIN is establishing a FREE multi-purpose educational center in the largest local government in Lagos, Nigeria. This center, located amidst many underserved Nigerian communities, uses a unique multi-faceted approach to give over 10,000 underprivileged children access to quality education. May’s phenomenal work in Nigeria has been recognized locally and internationally by TEDx, BBC News, Clinton Global Initiative, Channels TV, Business Day, and other renowned organizations. Her vision for Africa is a continent that provides easy access to quality education for all. Hence, she is committed to leveraging shared resources, technology, and strategic collaboration to make quality education accessible to underprivileged African students.
