Micaela Núñez Toro​

Micaela Núñez Toro is an Ecuadorian human rights advocate driven by her experiences with inequality. An excellent final-year student of Clinical Psychology at Universidad Central del Ecuador, she uses sign language for more inclusive communication, co-founded “EnSEÑAS en las alturas,” and actively participates in feminist and community organizations. Her leadership shines as a coordinator at La Poderosa Ecuador, working to improve neighborhood life. Remarkably, Micaela volunteers as a hospital clown and in initiatives addressing drug-related, public health, and mental health issues. Her project management experience spans citizen and food security, showcasing her diverse contributions to social causes in Ecuador.
