Mira Osman

Lebanon | Mira Osman from Lebanon is a Communication Officer at the Lebanese Oil and Gas Initiative (LOGI), where she works to promote transparency and accountability within Lebanon’s developing oil and gas sector. Her role involves disseminating accurate information and fostering an informed society to support LOGI’s mission.

Raised outside her beloved home country, Mira developed an even stronger attachment to Lebanon, constantly seeking innovative ideas to improve it. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Saint Joseph University in Beirut (USJ) and is a participant in the Lebanese Young Leaders of Tomorrow (LYLOT) program. Recently, she led the online advocacy campaign “Sharek latghayer” (Participate for change), which aimed to push for the adoption of public consultation processes in the Lebanese parliament. She also worked on a campaign emphasizing the importance of access to information and data analysis for social change.
