Founder, OKB Hope Foundation: Heathcare at your Doorsteps
Osei Boateng, is a passionate healthcare leader who has devoted his life’s work to making sure quality and affordable healthcare is accessible to everyone irrespective of their socio-economic background. Osei is the founder of OKB Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that is committed to bringing transformative healthcare and life-saving medications to rural and underserved communities in Ghana. Since its inception, OKB Hope Foundation has provided direct medical care to over 3200 individuals across 32 rural and underserved communities and trained 20 community health volunteers across four rural communities to serve as health advocates for their local communities. Osei has over five years of experience in hospital administration, operation, and strategy. He received his bachelor’s degree in human biology, Health, and Society and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University. He was awarded the Excellence Award in Community Engagement and Maribel Garcia Community Spirit Honorarium by Cornell University and was selected as the 2022 Echoing Green Finalist. Osei’s vision is to ensure equitable and quality healthcare is accessible to everyone.
