Peter Chauvel

Canada | Peter Chauvel is a Project Manager for Common Seas, where he oversees the Clean Blue Alliance program. His prior experience includes working as a strategy consultant for NewForesight, a sustainable strategy consultancy, and as a commercial fisher on Canada’s west coast.

Peter holds Master’s degrees in Management of International Business from the Norwegian School of Economics and in Business Administration and Economics, specializing in Energy, Natural Resources, and the Environment, from the Ivey Business School. Recognized as a Young Global Leader by the Sustainable Ocean Alliance, he is actively collaborating with social enterprises in Canada to distribute food to those affected by COVID-19. Furthermore, Peter is involved in planning the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development as a representative of Early Career Ocean Professionals.
