Ryme Assaad

Ryme Assaad is the co-founder and executive director of RISE2030, which won the UN global climate action award at COP26 with UNFCCC. She is also a board member at Sustain The World, Sustainable Empowerment for Youth International, and Sustainabiliti SARL. Ryme is passionate about economic development, social innovation, and sustainable energy access for all to ensure that no one is left behind. She has an MSc in Sustainable Development from UCD, focusing on sustainable energy solutions. She was also a fellow and award winner at Thomson Reuters, Mozilla Firefox, Techwomen, Vital Voice, Swedish Institute, UN Net Med Youth, and many others.
