Sara El Outa

Lebanon | Sara El Outa is a dedicated feminist, activist, journalist, and human rights defender. Currently a Project Manager, she previously served as Advocacy Coordinator at the Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering (RDFL). Her primary focus at RDFL is advocating for the end of child marriage in Lebanon.
Sara has organized numerous initiatives, including demonstrations, school contests, and public conferences, all aimed at driving legislative change in Lebanon to achieve gender equality. Her impactful work led her to lead a team of 17, providing crucial psychosocial and legal support to women survivors of gender-based violence. Sara is also a fellow at the SI Leader Lab and a member of the “My Fair Home” Network, and she dedicates part of her activism to formulating policies for Safe Side, a local CBO in the Bekaa region.
