Shatiea Blount, DSocSci, MSW, LCSW-C, is the Director of Program Innovation and Mental Health and Community Well-being Subject Matter Expert at UrbanHealth360 (UH360), where she leads innovative program development initiatives to address mental health and community well-being.
Dr. Blount is a licensed psychotherapist and prevention scientist whose work bridges academic research and practical application. Her career began in public child welfare, juvenile justice, and homeless services before transitioning to clinical practice. Today, her focus encompasses mental illness prevention, psychological well-being, and culturally responsive interventions across urban communities globally.
In addition to her leadership at UH360, Dr. Blount is the founder, CEO, and clinical director of Eye In Me, a social enterprise dedicated to Elevating Black Minds through Mental Health.
