Sijia Du

China | Sijia Du is a women empowerment activist and a Master in Management candidate at ESMT, specializing in finance and investment. She works for Target Global, a leading European venture capital firm in Berlin, and has previously contributed to development and innovation projects at the UNDP, World Bank Group, LinkedIn, and The Economist.

Sijia is passionate about tech, gender equality, and impact investing, aspiring to tackle social challenges with sustainable solutions by connecting markets and different sectors. Currently, she is also serving as a pro-bono consultant for the World Food Programme in Kenya on an agriculture project aimed at empowering African farmers to increase their yields, incomes, and resilience, thereby improving global food security.
