Sunia Shamsi

Sunia Shamsi (she/her) was a Junior Project Manager on the Young Global Changers team at the Global Solutions Initiative from November 2024 to June 2025. She recently completed her master’s in international human rights and humanitarian laws at the Europa Universität Viadrina.

Sunia holds a double degree in Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors of Legislative Law from India. Before moving to Germany in 2022, she was working extensively with an NGO aimed at facilitating socio-economic development of migrant workers in India. In the past she has also worked with SLIC (Socio-Legal Information Centre) – an official partner organization of the UNHCR operating in India as well as the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
