Tara Roos

Tara Roos a youth policymaker. She is a part of the We Are Tomorrow Global Youth Partnership, an international nonprofit based in Amsterdam focused on youth-led climate change initiatives. Tara is also a member of the Youth Policy Committee for Global Change at the South African Institute of International Affairs. Her role as a youth policymaker has led her to work on the development of documents such as the South African Youth Climate Plan and the Global Youth Climate Agenda. She has a deep passion for climate justice and gender equality, and this is shown throughout her work. Tara was a finalist in the South African Young Leaders Research Symposium for my research paper on how consumer behavior can combat the climate crisis. As a government youth delegate, she has had the opportunity to represent South Africa on a national and international stage. Tara’s goal is to help develop and influence policy globally in order to help create a better world.
