Food Safety, Nutrition and Veterinary Public Health Department, Istituto Superiore di Sanità – Agrimi is a Veterinary pathologist with 30 years experience in vet public health and research on zoonosis and prion diseases. Since 2009 he is the Director of the Dept. of Food Safety, Nutrition and Veterinary Public Health, at the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS). He is member of the Scientific Steering Board of the One Health European Joint Program and member of the Governing board of the MedVetNet Association. He has published over 110 peer reviewed publications.
