Venuste Kubwimana, a prominent Rwandan youth activist and social entrepreneur, is the Secretary General of the International Transformation Foundation, a youth-led non-profit he founded in 2009 to empower communities through leadership and entrepreneurship education. His remarkable contributions have garnered extensive global recognition. In 2018, he was celebrated as one of Africa’s top 50 Innovators and AIDF Global Innovator of the Year. Further accolades include the World Water Challenge and NextGen Social Enterprise Franchise awards (2019), the Takeda Young Entrepreneur award (2018), and being acknowledged for “Youth 4 South” solutions by the UN Office for South-to-South Cooperation (2017). Venuste was also named a Global Citizen Youth Advocate and an American Express Emerging Innovator – East Africa in 2016, nominated for the Nelson Mandela-Graça Machel Innovation Awards, and a 2020 Oak Human Rights Fellow at Colby College. His impactful journey also includes a nomination for the Future Awards Africa – Enterprise Support (2015), a guest speaker role at the Africa Prosperity Summit, and achieving the World Merit title of “Agent of Change.”
