Climate Action and Sustainability

The global response to climate change remains disjointed despite clear evidence that the world is on the cusp of global emissions peaking.

Even where there is agreement on the problem, there is a lack of coordination not only between governments, but also between governments, civil society, researchers, philanthropies and NGOs.

Our work in this area aims to enable policymakers and business leaders to develop proposals and frameworks that ensure that the pursuit of profit benefits both people and the planet. In our existing economic system, the needs of shareholders are often prioritized over those of the environment and local communities. The gap is widening in pathways to mitigate harmful business practices across developed and developing economies – undermining urgent and decisive global action.
