Global Solutions Summit 2017

The Think20 (T20) Summit Global Solutions, mandated by the German G20 Presidency, provided 20 Solutions Proposals for the G20 and took place May 29-30, 2017 in Berlin.

Dennis J. Snower, Global Solutions Initiative President and former President of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW) and Dirk Messner, Director of the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE), co-chaired the T20 think tank engagement group for the German G20 Presidency. A highlight of the event was the handover of the official T20 Report “20 Solution Proposals for the G20” by Dennis Snower and Dirk Messner to Peter Altmaier, then Head of the Federal Chancellery and Federal Minister for Special Tasks on May 30. This report presents 20 key policy recommendations for G20 policymakers and stakeholders. It also proposes a global vision for the G20.
