Frankie Elsey is the Junior Event Manager at the Global Solutions Initiative, working primarily on the management and production of the annual Global Solutions Summit. Prior to starting at the Global Solutions Initiative, Frankie worked together with Humboldt Universität and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung to organize two international conferences, tackling topics of anti-feminism and political homophobia in the Middle East and Europe (this as well with Brown University), as well as the navigation and intersection of gender, identity, and migration. They have also developed and delivered themed interactive workshops on topics of diversity and inclusion within the corporate world and have acted as a moderator for online workshops and training courses in their previous roles. In addition to their work on international conferences, Frankie has worked for an international NGO whose focus lies in combating gender-based and domestic violence, where they managed project communications, conducted policy research, and assisted in the management of the annual conference.

Frankie studied Political Science at the Otto-Suhr-Insitut, Freie Universität Berlin. For their MA thesis, they conducted research into the experience of trans and non-binary asylum seekers. Their MA research included queer and feminist methodologies, as well as principles of internet governance. Before their move to Berlin, Frankie studied German and Political Science at the University of Leeds, where they also conducted research into the manipulation of modern media by right-wing populist parties in Europe.
