Communications Manager
Paxia Ksatryo (they/she) is the Communications Manager at the Global Solutions Initiative, overseeing digital assets and editorials. Paxia has worked in the communications field since 2018 in the private, non-profit, and academic sectors.
As a practitioner, Paxia has helped clients gain multinational media coverage in their work at a Berlin-based public relations agency. They have also served communications and project functions at the UN University (UNU-FLORES) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) covering topics such as natural resource management and quality infrastructure (QI).
Paxia researches on corporate and alternative social media governance, mainly in China, Germany, and the EU. Between 2020-2023, Paxia supported Prof. Daniela Stockmann at the Centre for Digital Governance. Their mixed-method thesis explores netizen discourse of Mastodon as an alternative social media.
Paxia Ksatryo studied public policy at the Hertie School and comparative politics at Sciences Po Paris. She resides in Berlin and speaks English, Indonesian, French, and German.
