G20 Studies Centre, The Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) - Akman is Associate Professor of International Trade and European Integration, and Director of G20 Studies Centre at The Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV). He teaches International Trade at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. He has been visiting researcher at European University Institute, London School of Economics and CIGI. He was formerly instructor of Regional Trade Policy Courses of the WTO. He is a member of the steering committee of the Trade and Investment Research Network (TIRN).
