Dr Mina Toksoz is an emerging market economist and Honorary Lecturer at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She has worked at the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and investment banking, including as Senior Consultant Economist for Country Risk at Lloyds Bank Group, and as Head of Country Risk at Standard Bank International. Her other affiliations included Associate Fellow at Chatham House (RIIA) and Independent Director on the Supervisory Board, EIU Country Risk Service. She has a D.Phil. in Economics, Sussex University and BA from Bosphorus University. Her book The Economist Guide to Country Risk was published in 2014; a forthcoming book is on Industrial Policy in Turkey
